In his cozy warm bed, little Sam was ready to sleep. He hugged his green plush dinosaur very tight.
The night was quiet. Sam whispered, "Catch, catch, little bad dream!" and closed his eyes.
Thump-thump! Sam woke up. His heart was beating fast.
On the wall, a big dark shadow looked like a scary wolf. Was there something hiding under the bed?
"Mommy! Daddy!" Sam called. Amy and Ben ran into the room and gave him a big hug.
"A wolf is in my head," Sam cried.

"Dreams are like playdough," Amy said softly. "You can change them!"
Ben showed Sam his hands. "Make a magic net with your fingers, like this. Catch the dream and make it silly!" But would the magic work?
The big light went out. The scary shadow returned on the wall.
Sam raised his hands, but his shoulders fell. He whispered, "Catch, catch, little bad dream!" but his voice shook. He stopped.
Sam hid under his heavy blanket. He felt so small.
Sniff-sniff! "I cannot do it," he whimpered.
But suddenly, a funny little idea popped into his head. What would he do now?
He remembered what Ben had said. Wolves do not wear funny clothes!
What if the scary wolf had big, bright yellow duck socks on his feet? Sam started to smile.
He threw his blanket away! He aimed his hand-net at the wall and shouted:
"Catch, catch, little bad dream, put on your yellow duck socks!"
Can you make the sound of a silly wolf slipping? Squeak!
Another giant shadow appeared with big horns! Sam did not run.
He took a deep, strong breath, just like a big dinosaur. Fffhhhuuu! He threw his magic net again!
The giant turned into a fluffy marshmallow wearing a pink tutu!
It started to dance a silly dance on the wall. Ha-ha-ha! Shadows are not scary when they are so silly!
Sam snuggled deep into his soft pillow. His room felt quiet and safe again.
He hugged his green dinosaur tightly, feeling very proud. He was the king of silly dreams.
The bedroom was dark and peaceful. Sam whispered, "Catch, catch, little bad dream!" and closed his eyes.

Then, Mom Amy sits close. She whispers a silly secret. What is the secret?
"What if the big shadow wears a giant pink diaper?" Mom Amy asks.
Zoe smiles. The shadow also needs a blue pacifier. It is so funny! What will Zoe do now?
Zoe takes a deep breath. She claps her hands very fast.
"Clap! Caught, changed, giggled!"
